The Environmental Working Group found that 80% of all cosmetics may contain cancer causing chemicals, including more than half of all baby soaps.
Seven common carcinogenic ingredients are:
1,4-dioxane, hydroquinone, ethylene dioxide, formaldehyde, nitrosamines, PAHs, and acrylamides.
The government does not require that these ingredients are labelled as carcinogens.
